Apsley Precision Engineering: Advanced Manufacturing Project:

This investment has enabled Apsley to procure the latest CNC multi-axis automated mill-turn technology, with robotic loading, automated inspection and the ability to run 24 hours a day. The technology will be new to our business, and will be the only machine of its type in Wiltshire. The machinery in question allows the completion of both turning and milling operations in a single process, increasing the complexity and range of components Apsley can manufacture with significant improvements in productivity.

Investment in the latest technology will increase the number of highly skilled engineers Apsley employ to support the manufacturing process from the programming and management of the machine, through to machining, procurement of materials and services, planning, inspection, operations management and sales activities.
