Full time position available for a highly skilled CNC Lathe programmer/setter operator in well established and growing Sub Contract Precision Engineering Company specialising in tightly toleranced components for the Defence and other industries.

The successful candidate should be motivated, highly skilled with experience in Fanuc controls, needs to have good communication skills, work well as part of a team and be able to use their own initiative to resolve problems. Experience with C Axis machines required, experience with Y axis machines would be an advantage.

Position for a Machine Operator available.
Previous experience in this line of work is required, however age is not a restriction. Varied and challenging work offered, duties will include the operation of CNC lathes and machining centres and use of other engineering equipment.

Applicant needs to have good communication skills, work well as part of a team and be able to use their own initiative to resolve problems. Good rates of pay offered based on experience and on the job performance, with overtime usually available in addition.

Working hours are from 07.30 to 4.00 Monday to Thursday with an optional early finish on Friday and overtime run till 17.00 or 18.00 when available.
Any overtime is paid at the rate of Time and a third for the first 10 hours and then Time and a half thereafter.
Lunch break is from 12.30 to 13.00 with free refreshments available throughout the day.
